As stressful Christmas holiday travel considerations mount up, Santa has decided that Waterford Airport is to be a major part of the logistics plan for his busiest time. Santa chose the airport - which has clocked up a record 2007 in terms of numbers of passengers travelling and destinations reached - as a central part of his postal operations.Pictured is Mya Doyle dropping off her letter to Santa at Waterford Airport.

Santa is due to fly into Waterford Airport to collect bundles of letters from all the boys and girls of the southeast from his special post-box there. Santa will give special priority to letters posted to him at: Mr Santa Claus, Waterford Airport, Airport Road, Killowen, Co. Waterford. He's flying into the friendly and stress-free airport on Christmas week to collect his mail and to drop off an early delivery of toys for the Society of St Vincent De Paul.
