Waterford Airport continues its growth with the appointment of Air Traffic Controller.

Air Traffic Controller Mick Nolan, joins the existing group of controllers, managed by Donal Leahy. Mick has over ten years of experience in Air Traffic Control, and has served at Heathrow, Sumburgh, and most recently, Coventry Airport. He successfully completed his local training in Waterford, enabling him to take out an Irish controller's license.

“Mick is a great addition to our air traffic control staff,” said Graham Doyle, Chief Executive of Waterford Airport. “His appointment shows that the southeast is a great attraction to workers from the rest of Ireland, and further afield. I think the airport is now seen as a legitimate career alternative to working in international airports and is now in a position to attract qualified and experienced staff from the rest of the world.”
